The Trade Facility is aimed to increase trade flows of key agricultural commodities using advanced technological solutions focusing on Agriculture SME’s (Agri-SMEs). The model behind delivering finance under this project is to have trade finance available for SME’s when they obtain Buyer Contracts (from key Corporates we have relationships with). Side B has a partnership with a leading technology service provider for payments, monitoring of trade flows, and also developed authentication methodologies for payment to last mile suppliers (i.e. farmers), and real time reporting formats for all stakeholders (the financiers, the buyers, and the Agri-SME’s).
